I read that half the hacks won't even work on an SNES because Addmusic was made with a glitchy emulator. So is there any Addmusic tool that truly works?

In case anyone else has this question, yes, AddmusicM and my edited version of Romi's addmusic (Called "HuFlungDu's addmusic" in the tools section) both work on a snes.
