Is there a way to listen to the song you're making easily, without first having to insert it into the game?
I checked the tools but i didn't find anything like that, or did i just stupidly miss something?

I've got a SPC player already, but don't you have to insert the music first anyways and still wouldn't be able to listen whilst still editing?

It has the link to the program, and some notes about it are in the post. Later in that thread, I think someone also posted SMW samples to preview with. The downside of this is that you can't emulate the same effects (like ADSR) in the MOD tracker.

.. honestly though, I personally don't find re-inserting the music into the rom to be such a hassle. After inserting your music via CMD, you can press up and enter on the same CMD window to re-insert the music into AddMusic over and over again. It's a very quick trial-error process (not to mention, you hear it as it is in the game.. but whatever floats your boat, I guess.
