| Tip: The lowest row of 16x16 tiles in a level do not appear. Avoid having a low platform that looks like a bottomless pit. |

Hello everybody, it's me again. I have just submitted the 2nd Demo of Hunter's Quest and now I am making a Thread for it. I don't know if I made a thread long ago, but I don't recall, last time I showed anything of it was last C3, and I even recieved a badge! I am quite proud of myself, so I now have the inspiration to put up a thread, and I know the friendly user-base here will accept it with open arms (the thread, the hack was just submitted minutes ago).
Well, as you know, this is one of our sillier hacks, not involving a complex plot or what-not. The simple thing, Hunter and Scorpion are racing to get to a relic known as the Gem of Twilight. You control Hunter and use his "Double Jump" ability to cross the vast expanse of land and challenges he may come across.
Anyway, enough of that. Here are some screenshots

Bad pallete, photo taken before it was fixed, hehe (my bad)

And of course a download link to the Demo
Hunter's Quest
I would like to give special thanks to Nep-Enut, his hack practically inspired me with this. Thanks Nep-Enut.
Do keep in mind this is a "Work In Progress" hack, so I do hope to continuously show off some new material every now and then. Hope you guys enjoy!
I forgot to put this in the credits, but the Forest FG in "Foreign Forest" was provided by Lynnes

Welcome to Snow Trench!
Yes, World 6 I believe of Hunter's Quest. The start of the second half of the game, the Temple run I believe. I'll show off some screen shots.

Things have gotten frosty here, but I sure am glad there is no slipperyness here.

This bridge must be breaking down or something...
I wish we had better engineers.

All of these bricks and no "!" blocks. Come on! I need health!

I sure hope this red bomb doesn't blow his stack, because when he does, it's going to be a big BOOM!

seems to be a lot of work - I downloaded it and I just can say that you should not use that Grassy FG more than twice in a row, but it was in almost every level at the beginning. But all in all you should keep that nice work up dude.

I work hard at the GFX I make, but I believe your suggestion is more like an opinion. I'm sorry to say I won't be following this, otherwise you should tell Nintendo the same thing, and possibly a lot of other hackers as well.

Some screenies of level two from Snow Trench in Hunter's Quest: Multi-Way Blizz.

"Things seem kind of tight around here. The things here are getting on my nerves..."

"Wow, I like the scenery here!"

"What the!? Why are there so many different paths to take!?"

I think I found a bug in the game. When I got the normal exit for It's Tidy Out Here, two levels showed up. Also, when I beat the level Circling Cave, I wasn't able to access the level following it.
EDIT: When I used "enable right" so that I could access that level, somehow things worked the way they were supposed to. Not sure what is happening.
Still, a great demo.

Even know all the rest of the hack is fine, the palettes in the Snow Trench is horrible! Suggest lighting up the dirt that way its not as eye confusing.

I've been playing this hack since it was released, and I can't wait to see where it goes. The new world is a very good idea, but the map for Snow Trench does need a bit of work. Still, I know the world is going to be good. Just keep up the good work.

Eh, actually the palette it's pretty good, though in these blocks looks bad:

Aside of that, I must say that this hack is looking amazing! I hope you release the castle tileset, it's just lovely :3
Can't wait to play this! (I know, there is a demo but I prefer playing full versions.)

Been a straight long while hasn't it? Yeah, I thought so too, I've been on a short term break, but now it should be over for now as I have been playing Rosenkreuzstilitte and after playing Freudia's Stage, I thought that this would be a great secret to have in the world of Snow Trench! Better yet, this could be seen as a tribute to RosenKreusStilitte itself. These kinds of levels may be the only ones on this hack to used anything ripped at all!
The Background in the following images was ripped by S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N. from the game, while I recreated the Foreground and any other things you see flying, swirling, or walking around. That also includes the Freudia sprite itself. Well, here we go. By the style, you should know which is original and which is not...

Oh cool. Frosty columns, meh, won't slow me down.

Spinning spinies... can I jump on 'em?

I'm just climbing the painful ladder of life, yes sir 'ree... *groan*...

WTF is that thing? Is it looking at me?
...
LOOK AWAY!

Wow, who ever this girl is, she has some real art talent... with SNOW!?

Freudia, you will not hold me back or slow me down from reaching my goal of winning this bet, even if it takes trespassing!
...
Why! Why are you so freaking hard!!?
---
For anyone who will find this really strange should probably find it as strange as a bunch of Nintendo characters suddenly declaring war on eachother in some sort of brawl... just have fun with it! Hunter and Scorpion's Bet is merely a series we do for pure and intentional fun and not any hardcore plot like in TD4C.
Well, I would really appreciate it if you would leave a helpful comment in the area below, I followed what you guys said about lifting up the tint on the OW with Snow Trench and it looks a lot better, thanks!
