Why don't we have a TXT maker

Hi guys!!
I have an idea for a tool. Why don't you (guys that make tools) make a tool, similar to a MIDI editor, but for TXTs and uses only the smw instruments, of course, but with possibility of using samples?
Would be nice for custom music Makers.

It's just an idea.

Why not use an SMW SF2?
Hmm, what is it and where can I find it?
SMW soundfont for FL studio.
Didn't know FL studio could export to the exact .txt format that we need to insert a song via addmusic.

I'm pretty sure Grate wants a tool with which you can compose a song and directly export it as a .txt, without having the need to port it at all.
We can export as a midi. Drag and drop over tinymm. Open in MML Editing Tool. Press fix. Profit. Seriously. It's a 1 minute process. If you don't have the patience to do that, it amazes me you ever finished a port.

This. MMLTool is really useful in cases like this.
I don't think that's at all what he means. I think what he wants is something like Anvil Studio (and other MIDI editors) and A MAD SCHEME combined, in a sense, allowing you to easily edit the TXT like a MIDI while being able to listen to the song to check for errors before insertion, if you get what I mean.

Don't jump to conclusions, it can make you feel pretty stupid sometimes. If I'm wrong, please don't hesitate to correct me, but I'm almost 100% sure that he's not asking for what you guys are discussing.
But that's exactly what I said.
Yeah, Grate's idea is really nice. Is there a Tool Coder who'd like to do this for us Music Porters? #w{=)}

The tools we have here isn't accurate at all, guys.

We need a tool, that can be the Only tool we need to make a good music. No TinyMM, no Anvil Studio, no Wordpad, no MML EDITING TOOL, etc.
You know, Grate, that's a pretty nice idea. While, given some time, and study in some simple javascript I never really looked into, I could probably make a compressor for the converted MML files, but your idea is far more brilliant.

The issue is, it'd be a complex tool to make. There's a reason people have to pay +$100 for FL Studio
I second this. We should make someone create this immediately I belive we can wait if one decides to do it, it'd be epic if we'd have of one. calling al toolmakers!...What exactly could it do anyway?
We have had many many many many discussions of a tool that did this since, I don't know, earlier than 2009. I'm sure it's possible, it's only a matter of finding a non-lazy coder to make said tool.

...which everybody knows that most coders out there are lazy as it gets. Even most people who stick to SMW hacking are pretty damn lazy.

Just look at how many vanilla hacks are out there. I can safely say that it takes a lot less time and effort to make a vanilla hack than a hack with even a single ported song, or even a single ExGFX file.
Well, that's a problem.
It would be so nice for music composers.
