Reasons
Well... first off, demos have to be a certain length before you may submit them, and one level simply doesn't cut it. (In your case, it might be best to wait until you've got world 1 done.)
Apart from that... there's quite a few subpar palettes and other inconsistencies such as Mario and sprite graphics being slightly off. If you're going to fix those, that's great, but why not wait with submitting until you've actually done so?
