| Tip: Try making new backgrounds using SMW's existing graphics. For example, if you have a hilly BG, rearrange it to make it look more unique. |

Okay, I'm using BTSD. I inserted SMB3 Brick that turns into a coin while P-switch is on (map16 1310), SMB3 Coin that turns into a Brick while P-switch is on (map16 1311), and SMB3 P-Switch (map16 1312).
All blocks appear to work as they should, but the graphics don't work right.
The brick turns into a coin but still looks like a brick, the coin turns into a brown block which behaves like a brick, and the P-Switch's graphics are completely messed up. Also after I jump on the P-Switch, it's still solid.
Wtf did I do wrong?

Did you set up the ExAnimation for the coin and the brick tiles properly? It's not as if the tiles physically turn into each other when you press the P-Switch, after all; you need to use the blue P-Switch trigger to make the tiles use different graphics when you press the P-Switch.
Can't tell you what you're doing wrong with the P-Switch block without actually knowing which block you are using, but if I'd take a guess I'd say that perhaps it turns into the next Map16 tile rather than just erasing itself.

The p-switch should erase itself or at the very least act like block 25. Check that out to make sure that's the case

I redid the whole thing but I'm not doing the Pswitch block right now. However I can't get the exanimation working. I set a Pow triggered exanimation on the brick that shows a coin gfx when activated, but it shows the coin whether POW is on or not. Also I did the same thing for the coin to turn into a brick, but the (already animated) coin won't animate to the brick graphic, it just changes to the brown block (132 I think)
Edit: Fixed all the Animations. It was weird cause I had to disable the game's original ones. Now I'm trying to figure out the pswitch block.
