This is probably one of the hardest questions to answer, but I'm going to ask it anyways.
I am planning on editing Level 24 and its other rooms. Would there be a way to edit the rooms stored in levels, and not have the game crash? I'm still new to LM, and I know there's a way to disable Level 24's unique behavior.
To keep the idea of the original, I do plan on that level having alternate paths, just with secondary exits. It would be kind of like a maze. The secondary exits would lead to different areas which would all be stored in levels CD, CE, and CF.
I just wanted to know ahead of time if it is a good idea to try editing Level 24.

I'm not entirely sure what this patch does in all it's forms, but wouldn't this work? It says it allows you to be able to even add more rooms like that under different variables to help and stuff.

Still, not so sure what effect that would have on Level 24 itself. It could work. I'll download it and copy the ROM, and then try using the patch.
Still, I want to preserve the feeling of the original Level 24, which was why I started this thread. Just trying to figure out a way to do so without the ROM crashing.
