I'd like to make the enemy Bullet Bill turn into a puff when he collides with a solid, can this be done? If so, how?
EDIT: And I'd also like to edit the key's hitbox.

Well, you can work with it's disassembly and then create the effect you want, of course you need know about ASM to do it.
Also, for editing the key's hitbox, maybe tweaker can be helpful.

I know little about ASM, willing to learn, but I kind of wanted to change the actual sprite in SMW, if I change its 'disassembly' does that mean I have to insert it as a custom sprite?
EDIT: Also as far as key's hitbox, I'd like to know how to do it without another program if that's possible, is there a way?

For the first question, if you use the 'disassembly' version, you must set it as a custom sprite and for the second question it's much more easier editing clipping settings with Tweaker.
