Yeah, that's right. I didn't see this one coming.
Sorry if it sounds like im bragging here, but I was wondering if you could give a little recommendations of fun games?
I'm a real sucker for RPG and adventure games. Shooters ain't really my thing (Nope, I won't choose Call of Duty MW3).
I really like those games which involves a lot of fantasy and where you have to level up and progress (I already have Skyrim).
I've been thinking about Rayman Origins, because that seems like a hilarious game, and you can play it with others too.
...Gah! There's so many options!
If you have a game you recommend that you think that I would like, please share your thoughts!
Thanks in advance!

Skyrim?
But yeah, you probably can't go wrong with Valve complete pack, though they are pretty much all FPS games. They are all good, though! And you get Portal 1 and 2.

Use it on the next humble bundle, I think.

I'm 100 percent certain "steam game" means "steam game that's on the store"
Anyway, I would recommend rayman origins, but keep these points in mind:
Local Co-op only.
There seems to be a problem with save data deleting themselves. I think there is a fix. (Check the steam forums)
Doesn't have any fancy steamworks features like Achivements or whatever.
You should probably use a joypad, because there seems to be a problem with diagonals.
Still, highly, highly recommend you buy it.

First off, congratulations. That's (almost, not really) as great as winning some kind of virtual lottery.
Second of all, is it only one free game, or can you choose multiple games that total 100 dollars? If it's the former, then definitely find some kind of "complete" game pack which has already been suggested - get the most out of your money. If shooters aren't your thing, then there is always stuff like the PopCap complete pack (if puzzle games are more up your alley).
If it's the latter, then I'd just go nuts on whatever you can.

Thanks a lot! I thought the same there actually (1 out of 1937, geez).
As for what I can choose, its only one game. A smart choice would be to take the opportunity and grab something expensive, a game pack in this case. But yeah, it has to be fun, too.
I've been checking the store for any fun games, and I still can't decide. There's a ton of interesting looking RPGs and fantasy's out there. I thank you all for your suggestions though.
Truth be told, I'm not really very fond of gaming. I'm more for the music in them.
My brother is kinda interested in Call of Duty MW3, and I'm considering giving it to him for a discount.
(I'm a poor bloke and could use the money, even though this is a very cheap decision to make. Sue me!)
Still haven't decided yet, though. Might go for Rayman Origins still.

Did you take a look at Skyrim? Or "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" to be exact. It's an adventure RPG kind of deal that easily packs over 100 hours of gameplay.

Either way, if you do decide on an RPG of some sort, let me know which one you pick. I do like RPG titles but am more a fan of classic top down turn based RPGs. I'm not sure what Steam has to offer in this region though.
Either way, I would go for a pack as has been suggested several times.
Also concerning the whole suggestion with the Humble Bundle, even if it could be done, why would you spend $100 on it? The whole idea is that it's cheaper.

Durr.
Well, how about Fallout: New Vegas, also by Bethesda? It's very similar to Skyrim, gameplay-wise, with the only obvious differences being the setting and that you use guns (for the most part) instead of swords, bows or magic.

So I went over to my friend to discuss what to choose, and he let me try Rayman Origins on the Xbox. That game is a work of art, and I love everything about it. Although I kinda lost the will to keep playing after a few levels...so I'm not sure about that one.
Checked out New Vegas just now. Looks really intense and spread for a shooter game. Though I'm starting to get a little interested of Saints Row now. Watching my friend play it right now. Looks like a crazy and more content-filled version of Grand Theft Auto.

Any idea when the next one comes out? I'm not often on steam and know very little about it, but from what I've heard these are very rare sales.

If you spent 100 dollars on the humble bundle, you would essentially just be donating them all to charity.
There's also Fallout 3, which is the predecessor to New Vegas. Both are excellent.

I would personally recommend Kingdoms of Amalur: Reconing. It is similar to Skyrim, and it is really awesome. I've only played the demo, but from what I've seen, it is a great game. You should check out the link for more information, since I don't know a lot.
Also, if you're looking for cheap but fun RPGs, I recommend the Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World bundle. It has an interesting combat system, and makes tons of references to old RPG series. It is only $3, so it is probably worth checking out.
If you're into Sonic, Sonic Generations is worth getting as well. I probably don't have to explain too much about this one, since it is basically Sonic 3D and original Sonic at its best.
Super Meat Boy is a fun and difficult game, which I would recommend to anyone who is ready to play an insane but fun challenge.
VVVVVV is also a great game. Instead of jumping, you reverse gravity. It also comes with a level editor.
Well, that is all for now. Maybe I'll add some more stuff later...

Thank you everyone for your suggestions!
I know most the games you mentioned grishnax, but thanks anyway!
I checked out Game of Thrones, Men of War, Confrontation, Risen 2 and many more. But none of them seemed to really "click".
So eh, what the hell. I decided to go with Rayman Origins. I've grown up with the Rayman Series and it would be an outrage NOT to have this one.
Thanks all!

I've been hesitant to post this, but if he bought the game, he should be able to gift it to you, and you should be able to gift it to someone else IIRC. If this is true, then there are gameswaps that people do. But I usually only do it for profit and stuff. If you're happy with what you got, then it's all good.

Save it for the summer sales.
And if you're looking for an RPG or fantasy game, I recommend Monster Girl Quest. It's definitely not on Steam, but you could download it for free. Just google it.
As for Steam games to get? Don't expect to find the kinds of games you're looking for on there. The majority of them are shooters, but there are many enjoyable ones. Borderlands is an RPG/Shooter, and an excellent game may I add. Even better with friends.
If you would like to, you can add me on Steam if you want to know of any other games. My Steam name is: The Salty Chip.
