Tip: Avoid blind jumps. If the player has to jump down a random hole to proceed with no indication at all that they can go down there, you've done something wrong!

Why hello there! It's The Doctor of Green! Before we start, I am most certainly not new to ROM Hacking or Lunar Magic. I've been doing this for years. I just never bothered making an account. But, here I am! Well, I guess about me... I'm just a dude who plays games, and makes them. I live in Maine, USA. I'm 6 foot 2 and I love games, as you might guess my my making-an-account. I am 15 years old. Regarding more technical things, I'm familiar with Batch, Java, Python, and I'm working on C++ right now. I can read hexadecimal and Binary coding. I actually have Lunar Magic running as we spea- er, type. Working on a hack called "A Colourful Adventure" (makes sense in context). So, I'm glad to finally be here. And for the record, I'm not a Kaizo-type. I actually know what I'm doing. I've made games from my own code before, I have a good idea of what is fun and what makes you want to kill the creator. So yeah. I hope I can be a part of this community! *Dramatic Exit*
Welcome to SMWC! Hm, seems you have some kind of experience on LM. And about you hack, you can post a thread here for it.

Have a nice stay! *green*
Thanks Austin, and I plan on posting a demo when the first world is done. I'm going for a NSMBW style where there are 8 levels per world, and the forth one is a fortress, eight one is a castle. So it does take a bit of time. I have the first 2 levels done, and I'm finishing up the first Switch Palace. I am worried it might be a bit too difficult though, I might make it a later one. (I need to stop rambling).
Hello and Welcome to SMW Central!

If you want to ask anything, post here.

Enjoy your stay!
Welcome to SMWC. Well, enjoy your stay here.
Thanks for the warm welcomes!
Welcome to the site. I can see, by reading your post that you seem to be a nice user and an experienced hacker, I hope to see some nice stuff from you. Have fun in the forums and good luck with your hack.
Thanks, I'm going to start a forum page here in a bit for development and tips for my hack. I also am having problems with GFX, (I am about to post in the help forum, but I'm asking here first in case it's just a simple issue). Whenever I extract GFX/ExGFX to edit them, (whether in YY-CHR or the quick in-game editor), and try to reinsert them, I get an error message. It says that the GFX are still stored in 3bpp format. I get the idea of what this means, but the weird thing is this happened even if I just extract them and reinsert them without editing. I tried checking/unchecking the "Use Joined GFX" and it doesn't resolve the issue. Once again, I am going to post this in the Help Thread, as well as I've searched through said thread and found no solution. Thanks for any quick help, and if not I'll be in the Help-Thread.

EDIT: Fixed, don't worry about it.
