Tip: Remember, if you place a moon, midpoint, or Dragon Coin using direct Map16, it will always respawn when you re-enter that sublevel. Use the extended object instead.
Message Boxes Problem

OK, weird problem.

I patched this to my hack. And it works perfectly. But the probmlem is it's done something to the message boxes:
The message boxes do their normal thing (bounce and make sound effect), but don't display a message, not even a blank message, just nothing.
I have checked the RAM and freespace used in that patch, and all the other patches I used, and they all are good, and don't overwrite anything.

So what's going on?

Guys, I am still with this problem, and it is pretty urgent as my hack pretty much relies on message boxes. Someone must know the answer right?
You did put your freespace addresses in different banks, right?:

If you did, I suppose you could always patch this and see if your messages show up. Otherwise, I don't have any idea what could be causing it.

That's what I have as them freespaces, it should be right?

EDIT - Oooooooh, never used my code box with my layout before...
