Bokurano is an anime(that's based on a manga. Obviously). First it's a normal "Mecha" anime. Later it goes "Horror" and "Psychological". But it contains many plot twists and I don't really want to spoiler you. It's an interesting and exciting anime. Here is a link of a video. That video was described by a user: "This is the perfect video to use if someone asks "What is Bokurano about?". It has no spoilers and explains what happens "

This anime has 15 protagonists. Each one has his own character, background and story.
I discovered the anime through the "Kumikyokou Nico Nico". One song of it was the opening song of this anime. I wanted to know where this song is from and I watched the opening(Opening). After I saw the opening I thought this anime would be cool. I watched it and I was amazed. This anime was awesome! It was dramatic,philosophic and it had a great OST and a beatiful story. But it was pretty sad. I almost cried.
I recommend it to you. Here is the first part of the first episode(I warn you. It's addicting):

It doesn't excist a english version. There is just a japanese version with english subtitles(I'd be cool if this anime would be dubbed).
It contains 24 episodes and these can be watched on Youtube.

Bokurano is a great series. If you liked the anime, you should read the manga, I thought it was a fair bit better. Characters were a lot more fleshed out, although the ending was even more depressing. I think it is a little like NGE but also totally different. Bokurano's characters are also a lot more flawed, and in general Bokurano is a lot more depressing than Evangelion, especially the manga. If you like Bokurano, watch/read Narutaru, it's from the same creator and has a similar tone.

Maybe I'll watch Narutaru later
Edit: I read the first chapters. I think the manga contains more things.
