I am using MikeyK's Air Meter sprite and Jimmy52905's Yoshi Player Patch. The air meter works fine until it comes up to the death. Because Yoshi has a different death routine, the air meter causes him to be thrown up in the air and fall down through the ground, just like Mario. However, it doesn't return you to the overworld, the level just freezes, with only the layer 3 water moving. The death routine in the air meter's asm file is:

Does anyone know what code I should replace it with to make it work? I would be grateful for any help and will add you to my credits if you find a solution.
