After speaking on IRC, and a PM to Ludus, he is making the Radiatus Ruins BG, but I am able to make the Panser graphics for the collab.
I'll let you know on more soon.

Even the level list say it's optimized O.o
None of the Soaring Stronghold levels are optimized in the ROM - probably hasn't been added yet. Well, I'll take it off.

I also thought MDP had optimized that level already, he even talked about how it was a huge headache and such... that's really weird... maybe something went wrong when S.N.N. ported to a new ROM? Oh, and GSG, I don't know if you'll find this useful, but LM shows the number of bytes the level eats up everytime you save it (it appears on the bottom of the screen, you know, the bar that says "Rendering Level XYZ... Done" or "ExGFX Insertion Complete!"). I think that might be useful for more accurate[?] or whatever comparisions...

I just wish that Systemkrash used better means of constructing levels. I've spent just about an hour so far trying to clean this up and I'm still nowhere near finished on 11E; there are details in places that the player will never encounter. This is not fun even in the productive sense, it's a goddamn chore.

I honestly don't see what's wrong with the original ones anyway, but meh.

Updated BG again:


Coaster GFX come from 2dareduck I just decreased their size and the sea/lake was inspired by islands BG just posted by Magiluigi (to help keep things in same art style).
Does it look much better?

I can't help but think that the shape of those tents looks rather odd; I'd suggest making the base either a square or a circle, instead of the current design's half circle.

I did nothing to the leaves. I only attached them to the heads. Thank you though.~
E: also Aqua, I like the background a lot. but as YCZ said, I think the shape of the tents are rather odd, at the top, at least.

A tip for you, Aqua. I think the part where the top connects to the base, you should curve those parts with the tent. That way, it doesn't feel really odd.

While the tents do look a bit strange, I really doesn't bother me all that much for some reason.
