Hello, and welcome to my C3 thread. Now, I know you are probably eager about this, but keep in mind that what I will be showcasing here is very little content and nothing out of the ordinary, so if you are looking for some overly fancy stuff, look elsewhere.

Jumping onto the main point of all this, though, I have a couple of graphics (read: two download links) to share with you guys. Yes, after ages not having submitted anything authentic to this site, here I come with a token of my generosity... even though, as I said, they are not much. Blame my life for constantly eating into the time I could have spent making more of these. Looking on the bright side, though, it's been, what, two years since I last made a thread for C3? Yeah, well... despite this not being much content, it is at least something, and I am happy about it.

Without further ado, enjoy (to download, simply click on the images):

Grassland graphics. Included in the .zip are BG graphics, FG graphics and an ExGFX file to be used for ExAnimation, aside from, obviously, a .pal file, the Map16 files, and a sample level. Possibly the most extensive tileset I have ever made (although the BG isn't really all that large, the FG graphics take up a page almost entirely).

A custom ocean background I made about a year ago and didn't really make much usage of, thus I figured I would also throw it in here. Map16 file, palette, and sample level included.

Palace foreground that was also lying around my hacking folder. Comes with a palette, Map16 file, and a sample level, all that jazz.

That's about it. It's probably all you will be getting from me in this C3, since I am out of time to work on anything else, sadly. Hope you guys like it, though. Oh, and if any of you manage to spot anything wrong with them (tile behavior wise etc), please do let me know.

Thank you for your attention. :)
These look fucking amazing, Brrrrzer. Definitely a huge improvement over your old grassland graphics
i just lurk sometimes
Broozer nice graphics! good job! :D

Oooooh! You DID release that grassland set!
In all seriousness, that is looking fantastic man! The ocean BG is also very neat. Lovely graphics! :D
These are pretty nice graphics, Broozer.

Are you alive or just breathing?
Hey Broozer, they're very nice, good job!

Also, feel free to comment about my work here and the work I'm doing with Roberto Zampari, here.
Looks great! And the ocean BG, too. Kind of sad these are the only things from you. Still, they're cool.
And, if you want, you can comment on my own work here:

BrRRRrrrrRRrRRrrrrrrRRrRRrRrrRrRrRrRrrrrRRRrRRR- ahem.

This is absolutely stunning. I believe I've witnessed you releasing your first ExGFX set, and it's been interesting to see your graphical skills improve over the time. :P The things you make are much more realistic and detailed now, with a lot more shading and color variety, while still keeping the cartoony, distinctly "Broozer-ish" look. A drastic improvement over four years ago (and even then it wasn't bad at all).

I'd be sure to download this (if I actually had a use for it :<).

Anyway, great work. Hope to see you around more often here!

I haven't seen you active on this site since you commented on Super Mario Bros. 5 Reborn early last year. I remember looking at your stuff when browsing the GFX section and thinking it looked pretty nice, even though I never used it in any hack projects. I doubt I'd use these, but they look absolutely beautiful. The grassland has an almost dreamlike feel to it and, for some unknown reason, reminds me of Ristar. That ocean background makes me think of Sonic for some reason.

brrrrrzer! dude these graphics are amazingly detailed as per usual. and i am very impressed. but man, i just gotta know; are there any plans to start up on neo mario world again? i am honestly craving any type of new content from that hack but you keep saying it's dead. i don't want to believe it, i'm blind with ignorance! sorry to derail your thread and these awesome graphics but i just get too excited when you post anything hoping it will be about neo mario world.
Wow, Broozer, I always knew you were an excellent graphic artist, but these are brilliant! Like the other graphics you've made, they have your nice art style and are well-drawn. #w{=)}Free counters!
That ocean background would be amazing with some parallax scrolling.

Just :D
I have always been a fan of your art style Broozer, and what you have shown this C3 is enough to make up for the last two years. I am not too fond of the whiteness on the mountains on the BG, it doesn't seem to fit, but I am sure it can be changed in the palette.

I have a reason though why I do not use your graphics often, and that is because I can never find any sprite graphics that fit with your style. But your style is still amazing.

I remember seeing this in the old ExGFX Showoff Thread, and that inspired me to make one of my best graphical submissions so far, [FG] Complete Grassland Set, also released this C3. I always find after seeing your graphics I am inspired to make my own.

The ocean BG would have actually worked in my new hack, it's not too classy, and I rather like it, I would like to see some clouds in the far distance IMO.

Overall Broozer, you have made some epic graphics this year, great job!
Broozer! It's been a while. Anyway, these both look fantastic! I especially love that grassland. Keep up the good work, man! :D
You are a truly skilled pixel artist, and these graphics are nothing short of amazing. I don't really have much to say, but the realistic/cartoony style of the grassland set is quite an impressive piece of work, especially the grass!

The only gripe I have is that actually using the grassland set is going to be hard if you're not redrawing all sprites so they don't clash with the FG/BG. Then again, that's not your problem, is it? :P

Holy shit, those look amazing, fantastic, great, wonderful, and just awesome. It's just holy crap, that is looking wonderful.
Yeah Broozer, you're an AWESOME GRAPHICS ARTIST! :O :D

This fits very well with your style of graphics. However, it can easily clash with most of the other ones, because it's much realistic. Then if I need to make a hack with your graphics, I'll have to use other yours to avoid clashing (oh use redrawn, who knows). It's a bad point.

Forgeting that, they're awesomely well made. Excelent job, sir!
It's easily the best thing I've done
So why the empty numb?
Broozer holy crap! It's been forever since I saw you release something, but you still did not disappoint. That Grassland set is AMAZING! A lot of people seem to be saying that having a style so unique that a lot of stuff clashes with it is a bad thing, but I don't really think so. Your style is unique and awesome, and I'll definitely find a way to use your sets. Oh yeah, almost forgot to comment on the Ocean: as always, it's wonderful.

You've done a great job!
Thanks a lot for the feedback, guys! They really mean a lot to me, and definitely motivate me to keep drawing.

Glad to know that, since I'm actually really into the graphics in Sonic and Ristar. These games, along with many other Genesis titles, really do have some kind of graphical essence in them that I am very fond of.

Great to know I am that inspireful of a person. I came across some screens of your grassland graphics in the screenshots thread, and they actually looked pretty good. I can see that the cave sections in my tileset had a huge influence on yours. :)

Haha, was it really looking all that good? I think there are tons of choconilla hacks nowadays that look ideally the same as NMW, but who knows, I might actually find myself working on it one of these days. Don't go losing your hopes by this extent already, Zild. I mean, I cannot fully guarantee that I will be working on it again, but it is possible considering that my free time is constantly being ruined by school and thus it gets hard to have the time it takes to develop a chocolate hack. Plus, I still have it saved in my SMW hacking folder, so I wouldn't need to start it all over in case I truly decide to work on it. Hm.

In regards to how clashy my graphics are in comparision to most sprite graphics out there, I might actually consider drawing some of my own sprite graphics to please you guys. We'll see how it goes.
Brooooooooooozer, that grassland set is so cheerful and happy that everything else seems bland and boring now. Nah, just kidding, but man that tileset is really amazing. It kind of reminds me on Rayman (although I never really played it), Kirby and NSMB (probably just because of the background) at the same time, but it's still got that "Broozer-ish" look (as WYE said).

I really like the Ocean BG as well, it could look prety awesome with some parallax scrolling HDMA effect, I guess.

Overall, really awesome graphics. And also, nice to see you back to business, dude. :)
