However, what worries me is that in the image above, you can see the villains shown in the trailer, Chun-Li, the Qbert characters, and just a bunch of generic characters. Based on this image, the only licensed characters we'll be seeing were the ones shown in the trailer: the villains and Qbert. It's just speculation of course, but it's a very possible outcome of the movie.
One of the earliest images showed Dr Willy from Megaman in the room.

I have no idea if he got got taken out of the scene or the whole movie, but I assume that Disney has a license to use any Capcon IP that they want.

Hm....by the looks of it, it very well may be difficult to get all of those characters in with all of the licensing and what not. Hopefully the developers will get through this problem easily.

welp, looks decent enough.
Also I kind of imagine the antagonists of the story will end up being some of the licensed villains, as they didn't look too pleased with Ralph being good.
and unless for some reason Felix becomes the bad guy (which could be a possibility, I guess), then it would be silly to create new antagonists for a movie of which features many other video game villains.
guess I'm saying I doubt that scene will be the final time we see any of them.
also
oh god.. it's Neff from Altered Beast...

I'm a bit nervous about how these characters are just there for eye candy, and aren't utilized in throughout the movie, unlike Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Though, I can't say I don't want to see this moovie - I would love to see it the day it premieres!

But you don't know that yet - it's all just speculation.

Nervousness is a feeling of the wrong outcome coming true, and it's wholly unsure.
I did not imply whatsoever how it's how it's going to go.
And what's the point of discussing about this when we can't speculate?

Meh. I just hate how all the speculation is so... negative. It's like you're all expecting something to go horribly wrong.

It's more that we're worried it's too good to be true. Considering a lot of the other crap disney's given us these last few years CG-wise, and the possibility those characters are there for the trailer, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't go horribly wrong.
Or it could be the greatest movie ever. Who knows.

What he said. Plus there's plenty of people with high hopes; just check the first page.
Besides, being cynical is the most logical course of action. If you don't get your hopes up, you won't ever be disappointed. And if it turns out great, you get pleasantly surprised! Win-win.

Well to be more positive, Tangled was a great Disney movie!
Though I'm still pissed on how they had to kill of the witch; she was a good person for the most part.

"Good person"? Emotionally abusive is more like it. Seriously. She kept Rapunzel in a tower because she wanted eternal youth, only loved Rapunzel for her hair (seriously. notice how in the movie whenever Gothel says 'I love you' or something of the like, she's facing Rapunzel's hair) and told her a bunch of lies about what was outside the tower. If you need more evidence, look at what happens when Rapunzel does escape: she breaks down. Something that most normal people do (go outside) causes her to worry if she's a terrible person. And then Gothel sends some thugs to get Flynn. And then, in the tower, she stabs him. Not to mention that the entire time Gothel was teasing Rapunzel, subtly undermining her sense of self-worth. Good person... yeah, no.
...sorry I went on a little off-topic rant there, it's just something that really, really bugs me. Anyway, Tangled remains my favorite Disney movie because it's funny without resorting to pop-culture jokes, most of the time they're not shoving the moral down your throat, the story is excellent, the visuals are stunning, and I, for one, actually like the music.
From the trailer, the graphics look pretty good in this one, too. So even if it's not that good, I'll still like it as a piece of eye-candy.

Honestly, I think they'd do a better job giving Street Fighter characters a story than Capcom ever did.
I swear to god if Akuma shows up I'm probably going to shit my pants out of excitement. Although I can't really imagine Akuma being in that movie or doing a shun goku satsu or anything, given the fact that it's a Disney movie.
Then again, they put Kano in there. Kano. He rips hearts out. That's kind of his thing.

Finally, Bowser and Dr. Eggman in a Disney film. Perhaps the best Disney film of the 21st century?

There should have been even Mario and Luigi, but they got rejected because Nintendo's fee would be too high for this film.

I'm definitely not a fan of the guy, but that sounds like it could work. Dubstep and funky space technology go well together, and during that fps game they showed I can definitely imagine some dubstep adding the chaotic atmosphere it needs. Just as long as he sticks to the games soundtracks and stays out of the plot.
The talking heads song in the trailer did throw me off a bit.

Any idea where I get that remix of Good Feeling that was in the trailer? That was some impressive stuff.
