Interaction usually isn't a problem since you can just change the clipping value of the sprite using Tweaker or the .cfg editor, but changing the sprite graphically won't be easy. You'll have to modify the graphics routine of the sprite in the .asm file. Check if your sprite exists in a different size format from the sprite section. If it doesn't you'll have to either do it yourself or request it.
