Tip: Avoid "item babysitting". Do not force the player to drag P-Switches or springboards all around the level. This is not fun, nor does it make for interesting "puzzles".

Here is the place to share your SM64 sequence files!

Since this is new, I'll start with a small list of my imports available for download. Keep in mind that this list should be updated often.

Banjo-Kazooie: Mumbo's Mountain

Banjo-Tooie: Isle 'O' Hags

LOZ Majora's Mask: Stone Tower Temple

Mario & Luigi Partners in Time: Thwomp Volcano

Mario Kart 64: Choco Mountain

Mario Kart DS: Waluigi Pinball

SMW2 Yoshi's Island: Athletic

Here is a list of instruments/sounds within each NLST:
Mario 64 instrument list (This may need editing, please tell me if you find a mistake.)

Feel free to reply with more sequence files to add to the list!

PS: The number between the parentheses marks within the file name represent the NLST/Instrument Set, which you can change within messiaen's obj importer.

Thanks so much for making these, I am absolutely terrible at music porting so these are a huge help to me.
Do you think you could make a perfect m64 file of "Inside peach's castle" from paper mario 64?
Once we get the new sections up, we'll be able to toss these in as a starter set - thank you.

Out of curiosity, I remember talking to messiaen way back before and the format for .m64 sequence files seemed remarkably similar to the .mml files we use here for SMW (as in, I think the language was MML). Is that true? If so, we can basically convert every single song we have hosted for SMW (over a thousand) to be used in SM64 as well.
S.N.N., That's correct, messiaen made an "mml2m64" converter. Although, it wasn't the best solution. He made a new XML importer that works a lot better. The problem is, sometimes it can convert incorrectly, and octaves need to be edited for certain note limits. You can attempt to convert some, although I find the XML importer a lot more efficient.

Thanks for the info. I've been working with .MML files for the past 5-6 years now so any sort of octave shifting (or anything involving them, really) is fairly trivial for me to deal with.

Once we go public, I'll see if I can get a bunch of our files converted and ready to use in SM64.
I just added an instrument list, if anyone needs it.
Does anyone know if I can export music from Paper Mario 64?
There's a few tracks I'd like from it.
