I'm actually interested in joining the server too, and if the world is going to be reset then, might as well.
I would like to know how the survival aspect of the server is going to work like, however. Are players encouraged to work together/"close by" or to spread out through the world? "The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear." --Ram Dass

There's no set rule for any of these, there are people who group together and all and there are others who like to move far away from everyone else as they can.
Well then, I think I'll join the server once it resets then. I'm probably going to be one of the people who group together, I never really liked to spread out into nowhere land.
I was thinking about something though: Did people have trouble finding resources on the past (present I guess) server? Although I like exploring caves in singleplayer, in multiplayer I really wanted to just, go underground, grab minerals, get back out without having to do too much digging. I was wondering if upping the resource spawn rates would be better or if the normal spawn rate for resources already is going to be enough for the new map. So how active is the server nowadays? I may have a peak back on it at some point. Don't know when because 9-5, 5 days a week kills me, but consider this a whitelist request. I changed my name to SinisterPixel so if I was already listed, I'll probably need to be listed again.
Personally, I still use it, though it's not really active, save for, perhaps, the completely random times that more than 4 or 5 people may be on. Nobody seems to be that chatty, either, though I guess that doesn't really matter.
