I figured we needed some excitement here, so I've decided to start up yet another game called Name that Tune. The prize will probably be your name on the trophy list, and, if Smallhacker feels like it, a badge to show you won. Plus, he was looking for more ways to give out badges, so yeah.
Anyway, here's how this game is going to work. I am embed to post a random VG tune here frequently, and it will be the job of the poster to figure out what it is and post their response here. Points will be awarded based on the difficulty of the song in the following ranks:
EASY: 1
LIGHT: 2
MODERATE: 3
HEAVY: 4
HARD: 5
WHEN RESPONDING TO THE SONG: Please post the game and the name of the track (or, if you don't know the actual name, an area of the game it is played in)
HINTS: You may purchase a hint for one point. After three days, a free hint will be given. If the puzzle is still not solved after five days, it will be scrapped and a new one will be chosen.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
Gameplay will continue until one user reaches 75 points, unless I decide to end it sooner. So without further ado, let's begin.

Its that first song that plays in Yoshi's Island, but it also plays in a couple of other levels, not just that one.
It's called Theme 1.

Actually Cheesum, his name is Tubba Blubba. He's pretty funny.

Yoshi Egg was close, but it was Cheeseum who got it right. It's actually "Tubba", not "Gubba". You're thinking TTYD (which would still be "Grubba", but whatever)

It sounds like rainbow road from super mario kart
But its actually from diddy kong racing! i cant load it up and find the coarse name though.

I must say, I'm shocked there were that many wrong guesses. I do commend Vic Rattlehead for coming VERY close though. Good try.

you should find a better way to do this. My download speed shot from about 30 seconds to 3 minutes, and the browser takes forever to load.
not to sure about this one, it could be from metroid prime, one of the many chozo temple musics that play.

Yeah. From here on out, I'll just embed a player with each post. It makes it a lot easier than having to force people to download an MP3 every time.
