Hitting two ? blocks very fast causes one to disappear
I have done this once or twice, very hard to do.

It would have to be REALLY fast, since doing a flying spinjump and hitting sticking to the bottom of the doesn't work either.

Hmm, I get it. Castle lava is deadly to a lot of sprites when buoyancy is enabled O_o.

here are a few glitches for you...
while flying without an item, get close to the ground and pick up an item. mario will be able to do his cape boost while holding it
after pressing a pswitch, it is still carryable for about half a second before it disappears. carrying the pressed pswitch through a pipe will make it useable again
carrying a throwblock through a pipe makes it never disappear
jump on a green koopa and discard the shell. let the shelless green koopa walk into a blue shell. once it is inside, jump on the koopa. now a blue koopa will come out. (this works for any color, but i figured it would be easier to understand using an example)
also while flying, grab a vine/fence while divebombing. when you jump off the vine, you will still be flying!
this one is pretty well known. while big mario, duckslide underneath a block and stand up. you will slowly move to the left
while doing the previous glitch, spinjump, and you will fall through the floor.
if mario hits a coinblock that is one space beneath a coin, the area above the coinblock will become solid.
this last one is not so much a glitch, but more something that can easily be taken advantage of. a dropped object falls slightly slower than mario, so if mario drops an object and falls immediately after, he can bounce off it in midair. this is helpful for those anikiti style midair springboard jumps and whatnot.

There's this one glitch I found. I was testing my hack, but in the Yellow Switch Palace, I put two trampolines. I grabbed one, flicked one off the edge, then all of a sudden, Mario bounced just like he should on a trampoline in midair!

Damned scary but I just found this too, you only need 1 trampoline.
You run, throw a trampoline, and there is a random chance the game thinks you are on the trampoline but you aren't, and you jump.
I did this whilst playing the Dr. Mario hack.

If you're runningat full speed and areabout to pick up a shell, stop running just before the shelland right after you hit it,continue running and you will run faster than the shell and hit and die. This is most easily done in Yoshi's Island 2, with the first shell you see.

Actually, i made a mistake there. what i meant to say was that the lakitu cloud has an infinate timer when hit by a cape or fire ball not that a rideable cloud appears at all, if you get me.
I guess this also replies to icemask's comment too.

Very wierd that one... I kinda get what you're saying but, to clarify, could you maby post a vid to show me it in action?

No one posted a obvious one yet?
Steps to do the glitch:
1. Have a fire flower in your item box and a yoshi
2. find a berry
3. drop the fire flower out of the item box right onto the berry.
4. when the fire flower is right on the berry, try to grab it with yoshi
5. FREEZE.

Ok, so up with the lava tiles, reacting to Mario. This is what I tested and found about Mario :
Mario :
Tile 4 : When big, nothing. When small, swimmable.
Tile 5 : When big, nothing, until you jump on the top (you'll get killed). Small the same, and you will also swim for a moment.
Tile 159 : Big. Act like solid block, when jumped in, get ejected, unless you're ducking, then : Small. Same, but you'll die when you jump in it.
Tile 15A : Same as 159.
Tile 15B : Same as 159.
Tile 1D2 : More like a graphical filler than anything.
Tile 1D3 : Same as 1D2.
Tile 1D4 : Same as 1D2.
Tile 1D5 : Same as 1D2.
Tile 1D6 : Same as 1D2.
Tile 1D7 : Same as 1D2.
Tile 1FB : Same as 5.
Tile 1FC : Same as 5.
Tile 1FD : Same as 5.
Tile 1FE : Same as 5.
Tile 1FF : Same as 5.

If you have a steep hill, if you kick a shell or a sprite into it, it would go right through. Sometimes Mario can go through it, but I dunno how.

It's kinda a glitch. It deals with a mess up with frames and it wasn't meant to happen, so that's a glitch in my book.
Another glitch is in the DONUT SECRET HOUSE, take the springboard past the big boo and kick it at the stairs. If you do it right, the springboard will go through the stairs.

I'm still unconvinced about the whole run into shell thang, i mean it happens because mario runs faster than the shell right? tell me if i'm wrong So it's more stupidity than a glitch, IMO.
Yea the ghost house stairs are weird as they allow things to pass if they're heading upwards. so by throwing a sprite correctly it's poss to make them pass through.
