We are gonna need something to replace this. Anyone willing to draw up a logo? Using the same font and style of text used in our banner would probably be ideal.

depending on how much rom space is left by the end, we can prolly do something fancy with it.

How about moving the SMW Central to the left a bit, and have a small Banzai Bill to the right? That way the logo looks more balance.
I'm afraid there's no leeway whatsoever; it's already 64 pixels wide in its current state.

Vertically, however, I can still shift things around. Not sure in what way though, so if you have any suggestions go right ahead.


 
How about doing a whole Banzai Bill, and instead of moving the 'SMW Central' text, you put the Banzai Bill under the letters?

Have the top of the banzai on the top right of the words, so it forms a sort-of top half of the bill.
Is 8bpp Nintendo Presents logo allowed in SMWCP2?
Yeah, I don't know why we can't just make it as big as we want, we can even use LM to compress the graphics/tilemap for us so it won't take up as much space.

Oh right. I've been thinking about posting here again but never did, partially because I still don't know what to do.

So... which logo size are we going with now? The last two posts discussed an 8bpp logo, which I have no experience with and might not be able to make. If we decide on a 64x64 logo, is the current one alright or should I try moving the Banzai Bill around?


 
I'm perfectly content with the one WYE already made, to be honest.

I think we should have room enough for a pretty good kickin logo. Personally I'd say go nuts and make it whatever size looks good

If you are worried about making the graphics, I think you can just make them in the graphics editor of your choice and run them through SnesGFX. If you are worried about displaying them, I can pick that up if you don't think you can.
I could figure out the inserting if I needed to, but yeah, I wouldn't mind being in charge of graphics only.

8bpp allows for a full-screen image of 256 colors, right? I'll whip something up by next weekend I suppose.
Still very much open to suggestions, since otherwise all I'd make is something involving the Banzai Bill and the SMWC text.

255 and transparency, though I doubt you'll be needing that last color.

I'd greatly appreciate any opinions - what direction could you guys see this going in? If you ask me a 64x64 logo would do just as good a job, but if the majority want an 8bpp image, please let me know what you want in there.
