You're actually in luck! A couple of weeks ago, a group of SM hackers including myself finished working a version of our SMILE tutorial and released it to the public! It's still incomplete so some sections may be missing, and there may still be some random commentary from us left sitting around the guide, but it should still be of use to you.

I'm hoping to learn how to grasp graphic editing, and have even given a few tries with Tile Molester, Tile Layer Pro, etc, just to find myself frustrated with the interface. >< Maybe it's because I just don't have the time or a long enough period concentration because of my having to administrate NS2. >_< Anyway, I wanted to try something simple, like giving X Zero's armor in Megaman X. Would anybody mind telling me what editor would be best for this, or a good tutorial to help me grasp the interface of these crazy contraptions called Tile Editors.

I am very good at SMK, but I want to make an SMK-ZERO Hack. I have all the utencils and I want to have power coins, walls from F-ZERO and F-ZERO Music. Can somebody help me?

I'm having some trouble using the MegaFLEX utility with Mega Man 6. Whenever I'm using the screen editor and I go into the latter part of Flameman's stage the rock GFX are all glitchy. When I scroll back to the beginning, the sand GFX are glitchy as well until I get back to the first screen.
What exactly is causing this? I'm rather new to this editor and don't know much more than adding enemies, changing tiles, and changing music.

Hacking The Lost Vikings 2? Well, to start off, you will need to experiment with a Hex Editor. find what you have to find, like Art, Music, Physics, Level data etc. Just remember whatever game was started, like SMW, SMK, Sonic, etc. EVERYBODY had to start out using Hex editors to find data, then make tools for them.
