According to this page, the maximum size is 2 MB.

Has anyone here ever replaced Mario's model in NSMBWii? Cause I was wondering if it was possible, I've been trying for a good half hour and nothing is working for me. SZS Modifier keeps saying the file has too many polygons when I KNOW it doesn't.

Can any of the existing techniques used to replace character models in SSBB be used to do the same in Castlevania Judgement?
The game itself isn't bad, but the Death Note designs are hideous. I'd like to do something about it.
And on a slightly more obscure note, how about replacing Rygar's model in the wii version with the original one that DOESN'T look completely out of place?
Thanks for any help.

Is there any known way or proper program to swap palettes and sprites (or anything but txt since that's easy) for Paper Mario: TTYD? About a year ago I set off on a journey to hack it and make it fully custom, with the exception of maybe stats. Unfortunately, after looking for months, I could not find any way to swap palettes or sprites (or anything else but the txt files for that matter).

Rydia here, Pro/expert (I think so myself) Super Metroid hacker
I just want to know, how would I go about expanding tileset palettes. I am good with Hexidecimals and anyone who knows this game/hacks it, it would be quite helpful, thank you.

The game isn't in English, so have fun with that. The translation is in English, but all of the text is encrypted so...
Read here for more info.

I have a rather broad question. Has anyone ever successfully extracted, edited, and reinserted graphics into a Wiiware wad?
PS- Same question, but about music.

I might as well answer another.
Not as far as I know. This community hasn't done so, and I would figure that it would be nigh impossible for anyone to bother taking the time to try it. I could be wrong...

Originally posted by Jeffman, on that sitethe translation text is encrypted and you’ll never get a text editor
Um, maybe you should read more carefully? You seem to have problems reading different parts of peoples post. Here, let me help you!
1)Originally posted by MeThe game isn't in English, so have fun with that.
This means that the game is in Japanese, thus impossible to read if you don't know it.
2)Originally posted by MeThe translation is in English, but all of the text is encrypted so...
This means that it is impossible to make a text editor in English.
3)Originally posted by MeRead here for more info.
This means that you fully read the thread I provided, because it offers information on what you asked.
I hoped my little explanation helped you!

Hi all. Just wondering is anyone knows anything about the ROM Map for the game Kirby's Dream Course? I would also like to know any conventional methods for reverse engineering a ROM in a hex editor.
To change layouts of the courses and enemy/obstacle placements would require me to know which bytes are for certain levels? Then I would need to change those bytes to different values? How would I know what value is for what object? Just extensive testing?
Is there anyway of finding out what data is read or where a pointer is pointing to when a level is loaded?
Thanks to anyone who can answer my questions.

No one has tried to hack Kirby's Dream Course before, it doesn't even have an entry on Data Crystal. Absolutely nothing is none about it. Reverse engineering a ROM is pretty hard to do with a hex editor, but this special version of 9x can dump all of the code in the game for you along with some other fancy stuff.

Yes to all but the third question.

Using the debugger I provided should work with that. Just fool around with it a little.

I tried to run the 9x program but I'm missing MSVCP71.dll file. Should I just download the file and put it in the same folder as the 9x program or do I have to do something else?
EDIT: Nvm I've fixed this problem. Now to test out this shit. Thank you for your help Egadd.

This is it as far as I know. Just Treasure editors, and I'm not even sure they're legit (though Snowshoe linked the site a couple months ago for Kirby's Adventure and I trust him). However, you can always edit Kirby's Adventure, with instructions in this thread and a download for the editor right here. Best of luck to you.

This, though a slew of other hacking programs exist for it. I also found this to edit bonus levels. Good luck!

I've tried using this MM6 hacking tool, but it closes as soon as it opens.
Do I have to open it via Command Prompt or something similar ?
