Doing two walljump in a row , originally unintentional.
Everybody's talking about how they beat Tubular using Blue Yoshi or glitches... and I'm just sitting here having beaten Tubular legitimately. (BTW That now suddenly counts as another proud moment.)

Well, I actually beat it without using the Blue Yoshi or glitches (didn't even used the baloon: since I had the cape, i just went doing precision jumps like a motherfucker). It was a fucking pain in the ass, but it was worth it.
And another proud moment on SMW was being the first on my family to unlock (and beat) Valley Fortress. It was very nice to rub it on the face of my cousins who used to call me the worst of the noobs.

I didn't even use a cape. I actually used the baloons. AND managed to collect all the Dragon Coins.

Also, another proud moment was getting the maximum score in Super Mario Advance 2 (which I believe is 999,999,990 pts.?)

I think my proudest moment is when I cleared the Special World and the overworld palettes changed. The fun thing is that I found out about the whole Star Road and Special World only after a while: I play SMW since I was a child, and discovering this was really unexpected for me. I was so proud of this...~

Beating Tubular (but also Outrageous, even though it's easier) was definitely an achievement for me! I also remember discovering the hidden SMB remix in the Special World theme, that was amazing.

Quest on Full Moon Island 2
since i didn't new about the special world at the time, when i first discovered, i was simply amazed! i never knew a place like that existed, especially with the odd names of the levels, which aren't even "something something: with a number" (i.e. donut plains 1, 2, 3, and 4).

also, when i got my very first secret exit, on donut plains 1, just after finding and destroying the green switch palace.

good times...fly by...

Currently: Starting college!

Most likely my proudest moment would be actually playing the game on the ZSNES emulator for the first time. I had the SNES, but it broke around 2004. I had a hole in my heart that could be only filled with super mario world for years.

Beating the Special World. Gosh, that was hard, especially the forest level with those hopping flames on the ground everywhere.
