Which is better? Cats, Dogs, or Both?

I love cats. They are just as lazy as I am and aren't as annoying as dogs often are. They also don't need as much attention as dogs as they can mostly handle themselves as long as you give them enough food and water, while dogs need walks and you gotta clean up after them.
Definitely dogs. I really dislike cats, especially for their cocky attitude. I'd rather have a pet that actually cares you exist: dogs give you company, try to cheer you up when you're feeling blue, can protect you and they don't necessarily have to be hyperactive all the time; you can train them. I also find them cuter than cats. Cats on the other hand...

to hear birds and see none.
Kind of a tough one as I like them both almost equally. While I do think cats are cuter I'm unfortunately really allergic to them. Not only that cats just seem a bit more to themselves and not as caring or playful as dogs are. It's always funny going over to a friends house and having their dog follow me around all the time. (Though there was one dog that hated me..D=)

Overall I think I prefer dogs but I'd prefer the less hyper active type dogs. (Also would want a huge dog.)

Well I call myself "Cat's Best Friend" most of the time because cats tend to like me. Dogs on the other hand... two words; slobber spit. #ab{x_x}

I've always wanted an iguana, but my Mom always had a serious fear of reptiles of any kind while I was growing up. Now that I'm essentially independent though, I realize I don't really have the time, space or money to create the proper living environment for one. I guess that's just how life is.

As for the actual topic, I've always had an inexplicable fear of cats and dogs of any kind. It's really weird, because I'm totally okay with being around pretty much anything else (bugs, birds, reptiles, whatever). I wouldn't mind having either of them as a pet if I had some time to adjust; I feel like I'm kind of missing out on life by not having some sort of pet.
i'd also say both, but i'd prefer cats since they are less dangerous and are easier to take care of.

i'd say both, because, one is easier to take of (cats), and the other can cause allergic reactions (dogs).
My Inspiring Quotes on Personal Growth and Change:

"Resolved financial/personal problems equal greater growth!"

"The only constant thing in life is change; nothing is set in stone. The old is replaced with the new. Forgive yourself for past mistakes. When many different problems in your life are resolved (personal, financial, etc.), newfound strength and confidence is gained in the process. Usually, failures, lack of assertiveness, disappointments, incompetence, low self-esteem and lack of self-respect, financial struggles, and setbacks can cause us to change and take action to solve any problem, leading to increased strength and confidence. This you learn from experience.

I have been experiencing this aforementioned newfound strength and confidence myself for the past FOUR to EIGHT years or so, getting stronger with each passing year, learning with each mistake I make and becoming more joyful in the process. Because of this newfound confidence I've acquired over the years, finding my passion is of utmost importance in 2022! You can develop this strength and confidence in yourself as well!"

To whoever's reading this, you are amazing and you are capable of doing equally amazing things. Gather confidence and be yourself! Say goodbye to the old you and welcome the new you! It wants to arise every moment, but you don't let it. Learn from your mistakes and never make that mistake again! Find your passion and live it!"

Finding my passion in life, but I may still be active on SMWCentral from time to time. Still enjoy playing many hacks, but I'm widening my perspective on life and opening myself to the new.
To be fully honest, I'd say dogs.

Yes, I know cats are cute and that they aren't noisy like dogs are, but they don't care that much about your existance which doesn't show loyalty, being one of the things I look foward on having a pet. I don't hate cats, but it's not like I would choose a cat instead of a dog if I had the chance to. Plus, dogs show loyalty by protecting you, something I appreciate a lot.
I fucking hate animals they all suck and can rot in hell.

I'd say dogs because dogs can really be playful and cats are super lazy as hell; only downside that I see are that dogs are way too hyperactive and sometimes it really pisses the fuck out of someone.
I guess I'm kind of split on the issue. I myself prefer to own a dog, since they're typically more active, playful and friendly, while cats are much more reserved and calm. Of course, for the same reasons, I tend to like other people's cats more than their dogs, since most dogs bark and growl agressively at strangers and cats ignore passerbys.

Cats tend to have chewier meat than dogs unless you keep it in a crock-pot on slow simmer for the day, so I'm gonna go with dogs. Though it taste just a bit gamey if you don't use a sauce of some kind somewhere in the cooking process, which I'm not too fond of either. I usually go with BBQ.

Seriously though, I'm more or less a cat person. What can I say? Cuteness and querky bizarreness aside, I'm a sucker for an animal that can learn to flush toilets, turn on faucets and turn door-knobs. I do like dogs though, as long as it's not those little-ass ones that bark themselves inside-out upon hearing a pin drop.
