A tornado just went right through town here. I'm suprised I wasn't killed, or worse. Nothing happened in my neighborhood, just an air raid siren and a warning on TV. HOLY CRAP, a tree just landed in my backyard! Shook the house. Anyway, it was really scary.

Strange, I had a tornado a while back, which is uncommon around here. Yep, them tornadoes sure are a fright. Good things that I stay calm during one. I was going to evacuate into my basement as I said in my thread about the tornado near my house a few days ago. My tree fell down a long while ago, good thing it wasn't hear when the tornado hit. =D

The first thing I'd do in a tornado would be take my MOTHER games to a non-dangerous place.
I don't want them to die

I'm serious, that tornado was... scary.
And yeah, I did see the funnel cloud. And it was hailing like crazy. I'm suprised my internet still works

You know what I find weird? When I was 7-10 I used to dream of tornadoes coming and destroying town after town. I was scared back then. I've never been through one though, but it was life like and unpredictable.
7/10 times I was sucked into the tornado and woke up instantly.
Yea, it's sad when people lose their homes or worse, their lives over a Tornado. You were lucky. Plus your connection still works

Yes, but my Internet connection isn't as important as my life. I guess I'm just lucky to be alive. That was really scary!

I had a tornado last week here in Iowa. Surprisingly nothing ever happens around where I live. NEVER!

Being nearly killed, but then tortured by great pain, perhaps >_>

That sucks, dude. I'm glad you didn't suffer any damage, apart from immaterial damage maybe, but looking at your posts, you still sound ok in that part too, so that's good.
We never have real tornadoes in the Netherlands. The highest wind force ever measured thusfar was just a bit over 200 km/h. I believe that's not even close to the average size of a hurricane.
Although we do have some water 'tornadoes' from time to time - usually once or twice a year -, it's nothing serious and practically no-one dies.
But we do have storms, which can be much more serious than our 'tornadoes', although they're even less frequent than them.

When I read the title, it reminded me of Higgybaby from Magnum P.I.

So around where in Canada do you live? I'm guessing around Hamilton.
Tornadoes arent that common in Canada, they usually only occur in The USA around Kansas. That area is famous for them.
Yeah, even the big TO was under a tornado watch.
I think Mother Nature is having a "period".
