Mad late but it sounded like a roland trumpet, the closest I found [from my library] SC-8820 Warm Tp.2 guised in chorus/reverb effects at *piano volume.

Soft, Low Velocity
Not to double post but I made an incomplete sample set last month and well abandoned it (new project, new samples.)
This is a *mockup: OpenMPT 32khz XMMS 72% Hamming Window.

1/3 of the loops seem to be **broken but the ones that do work may be useful. Most percussion like the vibraphone and music box are clean, brass section is okay, strings wound up too grainy in an attempt to offset the Gauss filter. Blah blah blah, have fun if anyone wants to use it.

*
viola section patch, two drums, a cello pizzicato, Voice Oohs

That day involved making 100+ brrs. I mostly used brr tools so loop points may have gotten overlooked.
Is it possible to make some sort of like MIDI .brr collection of sorts?

Yup, it can take very little or a lot of time depending on how you do it. Bare-bone vs. Verbose
It's something I've thought, creating a brr library set similar to GM but there are a few quirks.

#1 There are thousands of SNES Games and many more thousands of samples to choose from.

#2 How to handle sampling. Some prefer cleaner samples while others may be fine with longer (less clear) more realistic samples.

#3 Which octaves are the best to choose from? Should I expect the users to pick the correct sample (Multi-sampled instruments)

#4 Many still prefer the old SMW sounds.

Some of these are kinda trivial but I'd only make a brr library if there is enough "demand" for it. If like 2 or 3 people are up for it then it's definitely something to be happy about. You can find my gear on the profile page.
More than enough for a well varied GM Kit.

Trying to make a hack but cry every time I go to make a 32x16 char.
