This is another hack I'm building. I'm not so sure how many levels it will have, but I can say that unlike other hacks, I actually have a bit more planned out.


The prologue.
Stage 1: Brutal Beginning

First two screens recycled from the first room of a hack I was going to declare final but ironically never finished.

Guess what you have to do here.

Past the midpoint.
Stage 2: Koopa Hell

The very beginning.

Upside down volcano lotus. Haven't thought of anything past that screen yet.
Manic Machinery (I don't know which order I want that level to be)

Focuses entirely on the better creating/eating blocks.

Why are there so many kaizo hacks starring Luigi recently?

Anyway, this looks pretty good. I really love how it really brings a vanilla feel into it and it uses really creative obstacles. I hope you'll have a demo for C3 to showoff.

I don't think there are as many as you assume right off the bat.
Luigi's Breakdown is what inspired me to do a hack of my own, but don't worry that I'm planning to be different on this.

The castle I showed up earlier will have its second half centered mostly on these (as well as eating blocks every now and then).

Always happy to see people using that rip of Giygas I made two years ago. This looks pretty good so far Katerpie, the only complaint I have is that it looks a little too vanilla, but its up to you what you chose to do with the palettes.

That area with the upside down lotus is very creative, although herding the disco around could be shortened a bit. I also like how the donut bridges have upside down handrails.
"Too vanilla" though honestly as long as the design is consistent I don't mind. Really I generally don't notice the visuals, with exceptions (pandora's box eg)

Anyway, this looks really nice! That intro is cool and sadistic heehee

for that one part where you throw a throw block at a turn block and then bounce on a koopa. I think it would be more creative and harder if you had to throw the throw block at a blue koopa, make it go off a ledge, and then bounce on that koopa midair. idk just some sadistic idea I had while watching the video.
Great stuff :) I definitely wasn't expecting hitting the mushroom block at the exact same time the disco shell hit it to get 2 mushroom.

I think the very last jump seems sorta easy? Where you jump on the football, but idk it might just look easy, and it's a lot harder to actually do.
