Did you pick the IPS? If you did, you need to patch TSRPR to a clean, unmodified SMW ROM using lunar IPS.

You can also find Zycloboo in the expanded ending sequence of TSRPR after finding ALL 117 exits AND beating Browser's Starship afterwards. The game will say "THE END" instead of saying "Let's find the all exits" and then will show Zycloboo.

Locations of the 4 switch palaces are given in the Top Secret Area stage after finding the secret exit from Dead Disco level.
The "secret second world" is really called "Thirdspace" and the secret exit to that is NOT found in Scrap Brain Zone but in Crashlanded Castle.
Originally posted by AnsemI played the level known as "Chaos CompleXX" and I can't seem to get out of there and I would like to know what I'm doing wrong
watch these Youtube videos on how to beat the Chaos CompleXX stage:

Realize that this stage takes a long time to beat.
Noticable difference between v1.0 and v1.1 of FPI's TSRPR hack: go to the secret exit of Yoshi's Final Flight level and at the end of the flying portion of that level, a "?" block containing a key and a keyhole will appear instead of a goalpost.

TWO YEAR BUMP! Wow, and I thought I made big bumps. I used ZSNES, and this hack works fine, and is one of my favorites.

Are you sure you have a clean ROM? That might be your problem. If not, then I don't know what's going on. :/
(And as abk said, two year bump. -.-)

I had to download the rom at a few different places until I found one that worked with Lunar Magic, so maybe the problem is somewhat related.
or
Try using Lunar Expand first.
I admit that I'm unsure if those options will work though.

There is a clean ROM verifier on the site in the tools section. Maybe you could use that?

There is also an online clean rom verifier.

I tried playing this on original hardware with a Super Everdrive and it crashes and locks up when I get to the first castle. Right after I pass the first thwomp at the top of the escalator in the first castle the sound goes out. Then when I die or try to enter the boss room the game freezes at a black screen. I made sure I had a clean rom and it was patched properly. Has anybody else tried playing it on real hardware?

Yet another bump! YAY!
But yeah seriously if you want to play it use ZSNES. It has shitty accuracy, but that's why it, like many other hacks, work on it. It's weird, I know. -.-
2008 was like ages before they found out music was broken.

How has this thread survived both a 2 year bump and 1 year one?
Can the Mods lock this?

Even without backseat moderating we can lock this.
So...yeah. Closing the legendary TSRPR thread. If you want to say something to the hack author, PM him (or e-mail or whatever). FPI, if you want this thread reopened, let a staff member know.
