This thread is about 'Tales'. (EDIT 1/12/19: Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition now up!)

Nope, I'm not talking about fairytales--I'm talking about the Tales series. Yes, the RPG series.

So...while we are waiting for Tales of Berseria, what are the experiences/feelings while playing any Tales game? What are your favorite games/characters/stuff from that RPG series? Or maybe...what Tales games you played?
For me, I don't know what Tales game should be. When I Googled up Tales of Symphonia I knew this games is about 13 years old since it was released in 2003. The remake version is included in Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.

If you haven't heard about it or maybe you heard about it, discuss.

I remember trying this game a while ago back when I was still super into gaming, and while that's not so much anymore I started playing it again anyway just to finish it. It's pretty fun (playing the DeJap translation of the SNES version, but it's definitely far from one of the best games I ever played. I don't think it's one of the more acclaimed games in the series though so I'll consider trying another one at some point.

@K.T.B.: I remember that thing about Tales of Phantasia here. I feel your love.

Okay, who doesn't know about Tales of the World? It started out as a follow up Tales of Phantasia (hence called Narikiri Dungeon) but it was later adapted into a game series that spawned in some titles:

Meh. I'm interested in Vesperia but at that price I'm sure as hell not buying it. I like this series for the multiplayer and still don't really consider them more than average. What little of played of Vesperia on the PS3 didn't reel me in.
When it gets a dramatic sale or I get gifted it I'll probably play it.
