So this means he's gonna buy it or just change some files to look like Windows 10.

You can download the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's website. FOR FREE.

My OSes are literally always changing, but here we go.

Laptop: Windows XP and Lubuntu (separate hard drives, have to swap em out)
Desktop #1: Windows 95 & 98, 9front, and OS/2 Warp 4
Desktop #2: Lubuntu (also a dead copy of Windows XP)
Desktop #3: Windows XP
Desktop #4: Windows XP & *cough*Windows 7 (again have to swap out the hard drives, XP is more in use though)
Raspberry Pi: Currently RetroPie. Installed it so I could check out the terrible PC-88 emulator on it, thinking of just putting 9front on it.
Random Floppy Disk: MeOS (one of those "Micro OSes")

All are on actual hardware, never cared much for VM's

Hmm. Isn't it useful to use that Windows 7 copy a lot more often? It's the only truly safe one I would think.

Well, there isn't something like a truly "safe" OS, that's myth. But yeah, the older your OS, the less likely it is for loopholes and security risks to get patched out, and Microsoft has already pretty much ended support for Windows XP years ago.

Feel free to visit my website/blog - it now isn't actually shit anymore!
I feel like Microsoft will never release Windows XP Service Pack 4 officially.
