Demo: No
Featured: No
Length: 11 exit(s)
Difficulty: Kaizo: Light
Description: This easy Kaizo Light hack with 11 exits and 13 levels is good to play as a first Kaizo hack. Each level has a specific theme and they aren't that long except the last one. You have also infinite lives and a retry system.

The plot is genius.

v1.1 changes
-added coins in Green Land
-changed saw placement in Wendy's Crib
REJECTION: Super Kaizo Mario World With Epic Plot Twist v1.1

1. Negative
2. Conclusion
________________________________________

1. Negative:

1.1. Test your hack
1.2. Avoid boring and bland level design
1.3. Cutoff and and other graphical glitches
1.4. Miscellaneous

1.1. Test your hack
Your first level is already impossible. Please fix the spawnpoint here.

1.2. Avoid boring and bland level design
Many of your level just demand some repetitive or uncreative stuff. This water level is the best example. It is short and the only thing you have to do is to dodge 2 dolphins, 3 cheep-cheeps and 3 urchins. That´s it. Please put some thought and effort in your level-design if you plan to update this hack. If your update still contains such boringly designed levels like this, your chance to get accepted is quite low.

There are also a several other boring / repetitive parts: Just to mention a two:
- this
- this

1.3. Cutoff and other graphical glitches
Please avoid cutoffs like this. Your dirt tiles should end, at the end of a screen and everything should be fine then (so removing the rightmost vertical line here should help)

in other levels your GFX header (#lm{gfxby}) (especially the sprites part) is used in unintended ways. This leads to glitched looking grphics just like the following examples. Please adjust the Sprite GFX till the graphics don´t look glitched anymore or don´t use sprites in tilesets they weren´t intended to be used (just like Yoshi in a ghost house / castle).
- Example 1
- Example 2
- Example 3
- Example 4
- Example 5
- Example 6 (in this specific case there are too many sprites onscreen at one. Remove some sprites here to fix this problem)
- Example 7
- Example 8 (remember that Yoshi´s House (Level 104) appears in the credits. Since you´ve edited Level 104 the ribbons appear as floating here which just looks kinda strange
- Example 9 (When i´ve entered "THE DRY AQUARIUM" after passing its midway-point the castle-intro-scene glitched. Not sure what´s the reason for this, but try to find a way to avoid this as well.)

1.4. Miscellaneous
Miscellaneous issues i found:

1.4.a.) There are these invisible blocks sometimes. I don´t know what to think about them. they aren´t a real thread and they don´t make sense either, so I´d suggest to remove them / replace them with real ground tiles:

1.4.b.) Some minor parts are breakable. These breaks don´t break entire levels, but parts of them. Here´s one example. by scrolling to the right in the following screenshot every football just gets offscreen instantly and there´s no thread anymore. Maybe you want to look for breakable parts more carefully and try to fix them.

2. Conclusion:
There could be found more flaws, but i assume this justification for the rejection is sufficient.
Your hack isn´t entirely bad, but its design is very lazy and boring sometimes. Try to be more creative. One good example of a creative Kaizo-Light hack can be found here. Maybe you want to get some inspiration from it (or other accepted kaizo-hacks).
Apart from that you hack has several graphical issues which aren´t that hard to avoid in many cases. Please fix these, too.

Overall not a bad experience, but in it´s current state not a good one either. But the most important thing is: "Test your hack before you submit it!". If the spawnpoint of your 1st level already makes it unbeatable this proves, that this hack was never tested and even if you cannot find any beta-testers for your hack at least yourself should play through it at least once.
