Right now, the contact info is visible to anyone who is registered and logged in on this site.

In case of the e-mail, it is necessary for it to be set to make password resets progress more smoothly, but at the same time, some people really don’t want any random person to be able to just look up their e-mail.

As a solution, I propose that an option with the following contact info visibility settings gets added to each contact info field:
- Registered users - The current setting
- Private - Only visible to the account owner and admins
I think it'd be better to just make e-mail necessary for signing up (email verification etc.) and then hide it, because really in what scenario would someone need your email instead of just PMing you or adding you on any of the other platforms you can give your info for?
At the very least, it should be possible to hide the e-mail field.

Huh, I've always used my "spare" e-mail so hiding that was not a concern for me but I never noticed that there's literally no way to hide it. At least it's bot-proof, but yeah, seems like an important choice to have.

Sure, but that may take 5 years to be done because as always the only person able to change this rears his head once a blue moon, as terrible as that sounds.
I have my e-mail address on my profile, but I don't worry about random people e-mailing to me. Maybe it would be a good thing to make e-mail addresses invisible to guests so only registered people can see them.

According to Edit Profile, they are.

You can also call to me as MFG or Manuel but not Mario.

According to visiting my bio in a private window, email and most other contact info is hidden to guests. Only website shows up.

@MarioFanGamer Oh, I haven't noticed that! I should've actually checked Edit Profile settings before posting in this thread.
