Super Minuy World Reborn (A new level arrives!)

Hey all, Scott Latios here.

I'd like to introduce you to my all new hack, totally not a retry of a hack I tried to make a few months back (and messing it up completely by having too many patches of which some I didn't even want).

This one will be continually updated, so if you're not into playing the same hack but with an extra level and some improvements to existing ones, it's best to leave this alone, although test versions will have every level open from the start.

There will be a seperate version that works more like a normal Mario game once I complete a world, and that one will be uploaded to the hack section as well.

Screenshots: (added when first stable demo releases)

What you need to know:
Current version:
Alpha 1.01

Exits:
2. Planned to be 10 a world.

Difficulty:
Normal-ish, maybe Easy in early levels.

Style:
Vanilla, as in Lunar Magic only. May change in the future.

Changelog: In the readme.

Known issues:
-There's no overworld, but this is intentional to make it easy to access every level. Most likely i'll add a simple overworld for the tester version and quite obviously a full overworld for demos and the full release.

For now, that's it, I think. Enjoy, and let me know if something is terribly off or just normal off.
Well, with only ONE level there isn't much to talk about, but...

Figure 1
Instead of having a random 1-Up Mushroom. Just place it a block?

Figure 2
Blind Jump!

Figure 3
Too many coins in this area. Also they respawn.

And that's it...
Welp.

That blind jump was kinda intentional since it leads to a secret area, but i'll probably change it to make it more creative and a little easier to find. I'll make sure you can't enter it again so the coins respawning is not an issue.

The 1 UP being in the open seems more fair to get instead of placing it in a block, since you can just barely see it when you manipulate the camera the right way. I'll change it if more people complain about it.

And yeah, my idea was to start with a single level and add new ones as time goes by, untill I have enough to fill a world and can release a stable demo with an overworld etc.
Well, after a week of procastinating, i'm back with a new level! Check the new download link and see for yourself if the issues are no more and the new stage in town is any good. Thanks in advance!
REFER TO PREVIOUS POST FIRST

Not much else to report on. The new level felt a bit empty, enemy-wise, and there are a few things to point out.

Figure 4.1 & 4.2, After a Slope 'Tile 100' Is REQUIRED, Otherwise Mario Acts Weird Going Over It.

Figure 5, Jumping Over This Pipe Kinda Defeats the Point of This Area.

Figure 6, While Technically It Works as Wanted, Having Cloud Blocks on Multiple Layers Just Looks Weird to Me...

And that's it, for this level. I'll make a new post when there's a new level.

Bye

Don't yell at me just because I didn't fix everything you said.

Anyway, I will set the correct tiles and move the ? Block so that Mario can't jump over the thin pipe. Thanks for those tips.
My feedback may not be as valuable as most since I'm not really all that familiar with level design.

The two levels were overall fun to play. I especially loved searching for the Yoshi Coins in the first level because of how open it was. The only problem I actually encountered was in the second level. You see, at the beginning of the level you can get trapped if you fall in the gap.
Thanks for your small but positive feedback. Regarding getting stuck at the start, you can hit an invisible coin block and get back up. I'll make sure to change that though, it probably is too confusing to some.
Whoops! I'm not sure how I missed that. #w{=|}
