Good time of day you're reading this,

I've gotten samples figured out, so now I can get these slick songs into my hack now. It's cool, except for one song I'm trying to insert. It patches in correctly, but when it plays all I hear is some quiet popping.

The song in question is Yoshi's Island - Goal, and it patches in correctly (except for the popping, of course). I've checked the readme, and I don't know how to go about editing the song's sound values. Here's the code in question:

What should I do to have the song play correctly?

Looking for high quality rips from our Grand Dad SiIvaGunner for my hack. Much appreciation to anyone who links me to any (besides Athletic PAL).
Assuming that the part you posted is the whole port, it seems that it defines the extra instruments, but doesn't load the samples themself.
At the top add:

Also you must insert this as a local song and not a global one.
