Problems with AMK and samples?

Hoo boy. This was a previous problem for me but I can't find the thread I posted about nearly 2 years or so ago. I'm using AMK 1.05, and the program throws errors at me. The samples are in the right place according to the .txt (a folder called "kitty" in the song's folder) yet the program doesn't seem to recognize. What exactly do I do about this? I've even tried placing the "kitty" folder in the samples folder, only to get the same end.

mod edit: fixed table stretch

That's exactly what you should've done the first time. Sample folders never go in the songs folder.

Could you post two things? 1: a screenshot of how your AMK's "samples" folder looks, and 2: the .txt of the song you're trying to insert.

Seems like AMK is not too keen on + symbols. If the sample named XG_Alto Sax.brr in the "kitty" folder is called exactly that (aka it doesn't contain a + in its name), then replace the +s in the .txt with a space and try again.

So apparently it was the underscore? But now it's line 36 which has no spaces or anything. The sample's there too
EDIT: Apparently renaming the samples WORKED
I don't know HOW, but it doesn't throw errors now

Apparently the name of the original BRR was fine; the original file also had that + symbol and everything seems to be in order.

I tried inserting the song myself and had zero problems. Maybe there's something wrong within the "kitty" folder itself?

fake edit: you fixed it while i was writing this post lol, glad it worked. just make sure it sounds correctly in game now.
