| Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level. However, if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex-edit at 070B2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem. |

I find it very annoying that i have to work with the limited amount of 8x8 tiles that are in the original smw to make a custom block. So is there any way with YY-CHR or something to make a custom block look different? Like through ExGfx? I would really appreciate a solution. Thank You.
EDIT: Ah, one more question, is it possible to change the music in a Boss Battle level? Like through hex editing or something? Because the regular boss battle music gets old, and i would really like to put some custom music on bosses.

Yes. You draw the custom block on YY, import it through the super GFX bypass, and using the map 16 makke it so the block uses the graphic you drew.

Thank you both, I didn't know what the ROM map actually did in the first place.
Edit: I can't seem to find the offset for boss battle music, could anyone tell me?
