Invisible blocks, layer 2 scroll sideways (vertical level)

Problem solved.
Thread is useless now.

I encountered some annoyances, while playing around with vertical levels and sideways scrolling of layer 2. This probably already got a thread, but i couldn't find one, feel free to post a link to the solution or just tell me ;)
I placed invisible blocks in some spots and upon hitting them, they A: acted normal, B: graphics got garbled (actually just turned into the map 16 tile 15E), C: 2 blocks appeared.
Here are some screenshots i took:
Screen before hitting the block:

Screen after hitting block case B:

Screen after hitting block case C:

I played this part of the level multiple times, the block is located on layer 1 (same result on layer 2, tested it), the block(s) stay the way they are after they got hit and mario can stand on them.

I can live with not using hidden blocks in that level (alhough i would like to), but i am more interested in why the blocks act that way. Is there a solution for that problem?
Btw., I added some blocks and let them act like 21 to see if it changes anything, same result.

Edit:

Nevermind, found the problem, was using switch palace graphic index without noticing, just changed it, works.
