With this time stuff that didn't got named yet, at least, that's what I think..
So, here is my FIRST attempt of making a tutorial... For Lunar Magic..
This tutorial is for the noobs starting to allready learn the basics of Lunar Magic, HyperBuu has made a basic Lunar Magic tutorial allready. Read that first if you do not know what LM is.
Before following this tutorial and using LM at the same time, use CTRL+Delete first to remove everything... Incase you didn't know yet..
1 - Making slippery or water levels.
I've seen threads lately of people asking how to make a slippery or water levels. This is actually very simple, just simply click the small piece of a door with the "1" in it, and you will see a screen with various options, at the bottom of the screen you will see: Make this level a slippery level</b> and make this level a water level.</b> This should simply fix your slippery/water level problem.
2 - Secondary Exits.
The same for this one, alot of questions has been asked by people on how to do Secondary Exits. This is pretty simple but I myself had problems with it also, hereby I'll explain you on how to do these.
You know about the little door with the "1" in it, right? Now at the right of that small door there is a small door with a "2" in it. Click that button and you will see anhoter screen with some various options, this time it's a bit different, however some options work the same. When I explained you this you will also know how to use these options with the small door with the "1" in it.
As you will see you will see a drop down menu, like this:
Code
Your probably wondering what those numbers stand for. These are the secondary exit numbers, they are simply used in this way. You will now probably see something like this under the drop down menu:
Code
[ ] Destination Level Number (0-1FF)
[ ] Screen Number of Entrance (0-1F)
How does this work? Simple!
You just enter the level ID in [ ] Destination Level Number (0-1FF)
And you enter the screen number of where you want the entrance to be in for example screen 01. To know the screen numbers, simply press the blue small door.
Now you placed your entrance, you will now see a Mario probably floating in the sky with the text next to him: Secondary Exit #000
To place him down you have to do the following, just press the door with the "2" in it again. You will see:
Code
X/Y Position (P=additional pixels S=Subscreen)
[ ] Set X/Y Position using Method 2
It's easier to use Method 2, so I recommend you use that. How does Method 2 work? let's for example let Mario stand on the ground.
X=1, Y=6, S=1 (Bottom)
This should make Mario stand on the ground if you set the ground on the correct place, after inserting this you will probably understand how they work. Next step!
3 - Finishing your Secondary Exit
Last step for now, finishing your secondary exit, this is a short step, so this should be easy to do. When you got the part on how to place a secondary exit, then this should be simple to do. There should be a small door with a + and a -, it should be at the left of the small door with the "1" in it, click it, then you will see this:
Code
Screen Number of Exit to Add/Modify/Delete
[ ] Level Destination or Secondary Exit Number (0-1FF)
Now, you have placed your secondary exit in screen number 0, unless you took anhoter screen.. Just leave it as 0 or search for the screen number you used, now for the Level Destination or Secondary Exit Number (0-1FF) type in 0, then under that you will see a checkbox:
Code
[ ] Use the above value as a Secondary Exit Number
Check the checkbox if you are indeed using a secondary exit. Now press OK. So, now click the blue door so you can see the screen numbers, as you can see at screen 00 you will see a blue light over the screen. This means it worked, you have made your Secondary Exit. Congratulations!
4 - Editing the palletes.
Yes, I've seen threads with questions like these too lately. Please people, it's very simple! Now this tutorial will help you to not ask these kind of questions anymore. Let's start.
If you look at the top of Lunar Magic, you will find a button with the image of a rainbow star, the colours are yellow, green, and purple. Correct? Good, click it.
Now you will see alot of beautifull colours. Now you can for example change the colour of the grass, the enemies, or Mario. It's very simply indeed.
5 - Coming Soon
Step 5 is coming soon.

If anything did not work or you don't understand something of it, please post it, and I will try to help. Unexpected end tag (</b>) at 971, expected </span> Unexpected end tag (</b>) at 1048, expected </span> Tag (b) was not closed. Tag (b) was not closed.
Stickification granted. However, I think there's WAY too many stickies here, so it might get destickied by someone else... Personally, I think certain topics need to be merged...

I have to agree with you. Personally, I think this topic should be merged with the The Basics of Lunar Magic thread. Most of the stuff mentioned in this tutorial would fit perfectly in that thread.
I'm happy for this, the tutorial must be very usfull to new users and hackers, I know it was to me when I started out ^^
So glad to see that people are helping one another more,
Caio~
