"Reporting" a submission

Is there an official way to report submissions? Because I guess you can PM a moderator or something. But I think a "general" thread to report a submission would be a good idea.

As "report" I mean, a missing file, a missing tag, a typo (in the submission's name or something), etc... Things that are external to the resource itself.

As actual examples: a little bird tell me this and this are actually compatible with SA-1, but they don't have the sa-1 tag. And checking my own files, I noticed in this file (thanks to Sayuri's comment) the title is wrong indeed (it should be just "Super Bomberman", without the hyphen)

The only official way to report something right now is, as you noted, to PM (or DM on Discord) a section moderator or the section manager.

In my opinion, making a thread for reports would only introduce more responsibilities for the moderators (they'd have to actively check it) and would likely just slow down the whole process. Contacting a moderator directly allows them to take care of the report immediately or offload it to another person. On the other hand, there's always a chance that whoever you contact is away and doesn't respond timely, but I'm not sure if that would justify a thread for it.

Anyhow, I'll go fix those three submissions and forward this idea to the forum team so we can get more opinions on it.
I think that simply PMing one of the appropriate Section Mods or DMing them on Discord would be the easiest way to handle situations like that. It's more direct and doesn't require us to check a thread, or for us Forum Mods to then track down the appropriate mod and let them know.

It's not a bad suggestion, but I think implementing it would be more roundabout than the methods we have now.
Yeah, thinking it twice it doesn't seems that good, my bad. Plus this kind of errors aren't that common too. Thanks for the replies.

I actually don't mind the idea as much because in theory, if you're alerting all staff about an issue rather than one staff member, it's likely to be dealt with quicker.

I do however think that a thread would be a fairly clunky implementation - if we had a report system which added tickets (for pretty much anything, rulebreaking posts to minor issues in a resource) to a staff-only part of the site or something, that *might* be faster, or it might just encourage staff members to assume someone else will/wait for someone else to do it.

I think the idea has some merits, but the most streamlined implementation would be a big ask on the coder's side for a potentially unnoticeable payoff.
