Sprite Section's screenshoots size limit

When i try to upload an image to the sprite section, usually i do a gif and is very common that a gif use more than 1MB, Is possible to expand the limit to 5MB then users can upload better gifs? because with only 1 MB sometimes is hard to show what do the sprite.

Just make multiple smaller GIFs. Nobody wants to rewatch an entire 1-minute GIF when they want to see a specific feature of the sprite again.
This is a problem I myself have run into in the past, but I'm also really inclined to agree with randomdude. This is quite easy to do, so I'll wait to see what others think first.
As someone who often creates gifs, I have to agree with anonimzwx.
It can be difficult to create a gif that's long enough to show off all that you want to display, yet short enough that is within the size limit of the website.

So, in the end, maybe not 5 MB. How about 3?

Can you please just put every feature you want to show in a separate gif? its better for the end user too, they can stare at one feature for however long they want. the 1mb limit is per screenshot, not a total for all screenshots.

Idea 1: Allow soundless MP4 files to be uplodaded or other video formats to be used instead, since those usually occupy less space than GIFs most of the time.

Idea 2: Compress your GIF by using a site like this one.

Idea 2.1.actuallyUnnecessaryButMaybe: Add a thing that automatically tries to compress GIFs.
I agree with RanAS on Idea 1, allowing MP4 would allow users to make use of its controls if they want to see a few seconds back or pause, rather than having to wait for the entire GIF to loop back. MP4 files are also smaller than GIFs in most cases I've seen, but I'm not sure all browsers can show them in page; you might have to do a fallback to GIF or something for that case.

And, yeah, compress the GIFs, you don't always need every frame of the GIF to be a completely new one, and a few artifacts here and there don't matter that much to me.
