I would like to hear what people think is some good hacks in this community, also why you think its good. #smrpg{y}
Thank you and have a nice day

Fishing Season 2 is a neat, fun little hack that isn't too difficult or anything. The original is good too. For something a bit more challenging, NOT SO SADISTIC MARIO. is a fun jank hack inspired by Japanese hacks, and Another Special World is a kinda old but well made vanilla hack. The Hack series are cool, gimmicky hacks. For a puzzle hack, Mario's Keytastrophe: Rebirth Edition is a great one and isn't too hard.

I would also recommend playing JUMP but a warning needs to be issued with that: this hack becomes insanely brutal in the late game. It starts off very vanilla and simple, but gradually becomes more ASM-filled with crazy unique gimmicks.

A lot of people like Japanese hacks as well because of their uniqueness and typical lack of "professional polish" in favor of fun design. Hacks over there typically don't try too hard to come across as real games, but instead try to just be fun and silly. Some examples include the VIP series, ASPE, SMW YEAH!, Luigi's Adventure, or Brutal Mario (but this one is more of a technical ASM showoff hack, not very good design compared to the others).

Also, you can't go wrong playing the VLDC collabs. Not that they are necessarily great games, but they are representative of the community in a certain way. The VLDC9 overworld is also quite impressive.

As far as what people think are good hacks in the community, that totally depends on people's taste. Some people like playing hacks with a totally new story and character, such as Eevee's hacks, while others enjoy playing brutally hard hacks that stick to the original smw formula, such as Levelengine's hacks.
