News: Netplayers' Association
Hello, fellow netplayers!

I'm trying to get a new channel (chat room) established on our IRC server, irc.caffie.net. The channel is called #netplay, and is meant to serve as a place where you can find people to netplay with. Our main focus will be Zsnes netplaying, but if you're looking for players for other games, that's fine as well.

Don't hesitate to drop by, even if you are just curious. We're starting out small, but it's you guys who can make this work, so I hope to see you around!

Man, now I really wish the good computer wasn't broken here. Forget all my hacking material being on it; this other one isn't even fast enough to play anything more than PC Pinball.

@devil-treme: If I recall correctly, the netplay server is indefinitely down or something, so you need an old version of ZSNES to do direct IP address link-up with someone else. I think it's version 1.42; I'm not certain, because mine is on the busted computer! Grrr. Anyway, I think you can look in the FAQ for the current version and find a link to get to what you need. I hope that helps.

Yay. This should be fun.
But one question. Which version of ZSNES supports netplay. The one I have doesn't let me click it. :P

Anyhow, I can't wait to be able to play with people for once, all my friends suck at rom hacks. :P
