First of all, we'd like to announce the File Bin where you can upload whatever SMWC related stuff you want: Released files, pictures for posts, layout files, avatars, etc. You can also use it to upload C3 entries without having to submit them to one of the site's sections. You can find it at http://bin.smwcentral.net/.
Also, C3 starts this Saturday. To be more precise, it starts around 5 AM (server time). To see current server time, check the Timezone field in Edit Profile or log out and check the ropebox.
When C3 opens, we'll create the C3 forum for you to post your entires in. Make one thread per project. Although, if you have a lot of stuff (such as a ton of unrelated ExGFX files), it might be a good idea to make a single thread instead.
C3 is two days long, so it wouldn't be too fun if everything happens on the first day. Therefore, I suggest that you flip a coin or something to decide which day to post it on. If you have more than one project, maybe post some on Saturday and some on Sunday?
Once C3 is over, we'll some trophies to hand out. Most of them will be picked by judges, but a few will be picked by the public (similar to the SMWC Mosts). After an unspecified amount of days of judging and counting the votes, the winners will be announced.
If you have any questions about C3, ask in its announcement thread.
That's so cool... now I can upload stuff to a file bin of my favorite site!
And it's also nice to know all these stuff about C3, I can't wait to it. Even though I'm not going to release any hacks, it'll be one of SMWCentral's greatest events. Also, it's such a nice thing to know that I have chances of getting a trophie!
Sounds good. Hopefully people will come to my 'exhibits' when this comes out. I am pretty sure people will like what they see, unless some
EXTREMELY awesome new announced thing takes up all of the attention.
I was wondering what the file bin was, because I seen you guys there(Admins) and I was thinking "Is this something that is secret?" But I guess it's not really something secret =/
Oh well, it looks great...
The file bin looks nice and easy to use, but it also looks like you can delete other people's files *points at [D] under options*. Either than that, I believe that this is going to make file managing much easier for some users.
