- Your sprite must work with the latest version of PIXI.
We no longer accept sprites designed for SpriteTool or GIEPY. You can find the latest version of PIXI here. This applies to all sprite types accepted by PIXI, namely standard, shooter, generator, extended and cluster. - All files necessary for sprite function must be included.
The following files are necessary depending on the type of sprite being submitted.
Required Files Standard/Shooter/Generator .asm file; .cfg/.json file Cluster .asm file for the cluster sprite; .asm and .cfg/.json for the spawner sprite Extended .asm file Dynamic .bin file in addition to the above as necessary
- If submitting a modified disassembly, include an unmodified .asm and .cfg/.json file as well.
Disassemblies are first and foremost a faithful attempt to recreate the original sprite. While improvements and new features are appreciated and you're free to add them, you must also include the unchanged sprite. - You must include graphics when appropriate.
Unless your sprite uses tiles included in the original game's graphic files, you must either provide your own or link to a compatible graphics submission. - Overworld sprites are not accepted.
When PIXI offers official support for overworld sprites the section will open submissions for overworld sprites again.
