Administrators

Administrators are the people who maintain SMW Central and make sure everything always runs smoothly, for both the users and the staff team.

Some administrators can handle your name change and password reset requests. If you need to reset your password, you can contact one of these Administrators via Discord or via the email address in their profile. Please take a read of their bios before contacting them, as not every administrator facilitates these requests. If you have a query about a specific site/resource section, you're best off contacting the relevant Section Manager as they will be able to assist you better.

If you wish to bring up a concern about the staff team itself to the administrators, be that in how the site is run or a specific Staff Member's behaviour, feel free to use the Staff Feedback form.

Hi! AmperSam here (though most people just call me Amper), aside from site administration I'm part of the Public Relations team helping with events. I also spearheaded the Questionable LDC, bringing a little unorthodoxy to our contest line-up.

My history in the SMW hacking scene isn't as deep as these other nerds (I've only been around since 2019) but it's become a hobby I greatly enjoy and have given a lot of energy to so I hope to be around for many years to come.

I'm a fairly old user from SMWCentral, having come to know it since before it's grand wipe and registering soon after it, giving me more than 15 years of experience in SMW Hacking. I'm fairly competent with some kinds of ASM, like 65c816 (SNES), MIPS (N64) and x86 (Intel and AMD)... and several high-level languages, such as C, C++, C# and Java to an extent, Python and R. Hi, I'm dtothefourth and I have been involved in romhacking for more than 20 years. I've made editors for multiple games including the new SMB2 editor and a music composition tool for Genesis games. I'm well versed in ASM (6502, 65c816, 68K and x86) as well as most major programming languages and I've worked in almost every aspect of SMW hacking from blocks, sprites, music porting, sampling, sound effects, even procedurally generated levels.
