We've overhauled our requesting resources "system" we've had in place up until now. Instead of having a few dedicated threads across the forum, we've decided to enhance it all with an entirely dedicated forum and requesting fulfilment incentive trophies! With thanks to our helpful site robot, ModBot (who you may recognise from the Discord online users list!) - a lot of the processes are automated too.
By fulfilling requests, you can earn yourself some Mario Maker coin-styled trophies (Mario "Maker" because you're "making" requests - get it?)
You can find the forum in the SMW Hacking category on the forum index, just below Resources & Tool Releases. If you're lazy, just click here. Please make sure you read the stickied information threads on how the forum works, what you need to do, and how to fulfil requests and get trophies.
If you have any questions or feedback on the system, please direct it to this thread in the forum. Big thank you to Atari2.0 for coding in the required ModBot features, Telinc1 for making SMWC function with ModBot, bebn legg for drawing the trophies, and the rest of the forum mods for helping to pull this new feature/forum together!
A brand new 120hoSPC contest will kick off on Thursday, March 11, at 12 PM EST through to Tuesday, March 16th! Once the contest starts, participants will have five whole days to create a brand new port or original composition based on the contest's theme (Which will be posted at the time beforehand). Find your creative spark, stay tuned here for the announcement of the theme and rules, and join the musical fun!
Hey, space cowboys, aliens and earthlings! I've come from a far far distant galaxy just to announce the results of the EXGFX Contest. Sorry to keep you waiting for so long. Check it here in this thread:
After much consideration, we've taken the decision to archive the Français forum under International SMW Hacking, and create a thread for French-speaking SMW hackers to discuss in instead. Due to the Français forum's low activity over the past couple of years, we decided it's best to condense any future activity into a smaller home. Should the French-speaking SMW hacking community grow or disagree with this decision, we can always take the steps to unarchive it in the future.
We've also moved the SMW Data Repository from being a subforum of the Resources & Tools Releases forum, to being a subforum of SMW Hacking Help. This change better reflects the forum's purpose as a repository of information.
