hi everyone c3 starts tomorrow. just a reminder.

For those of you who don't know what C3 is, it's like an online creativity convention to showoff the stuff you made. Imagine we're all gathered at a hotel conference room, and you have your own booth or booths to show off what you made.

I used to say "it's like E3 but for SMW Central", but that's gone now so idk what I'm going to use to describe it moving forward.

The SMWC Hall of Fame

It gives me great pleasure to announce that on Saturday, February 17, we will announce the first inductees into the brand-new SMW Central Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame is a new, permanent addition to the site. A class will be inducted each year to recognize the hacks that made our community talk, the hacks that friends would recommend to their friends, and the hacks that we would put in a time capsule for the future to know what this year was like in SMW hacking.

2FA

Hello everyone. I hope you are doing well. Happy new year to you all. In case you don't check the Site Changelog, SMW Central now supports 2FA (two-factor authentication) via TOTP-based apps. You can enable it in an Edit Profile near you. We don't normally "announce" site changes as such, but as cyber-security is important and this is a really cool feature, we decided it shouldn't just get burried in the changelog thread.
