Should I vote for 3 or 4?

I choose 4 through because it simply awesome (third is also through).

... hmmm, or maybe... make ASM script which will randomly choose titlescreen 3 or 4... (basing on SRAM, since I won't think anybody would press keys before titlescreen)

The others aren't worth voting :(, since those are plain lazy.

Actually, Lunar Magic uses that 8x8 to display "Invisible Warp Hole blocks" sprite. But, I doubt anyone use that sprite ingame, since it become very glitched in LM 1.71. (I should send that bug to FuSoYa).

About ingame - This spot is replaced by Mario and Yoshi graphics automatically during gameplay, like Nintendo Presents or that cross (tiles 0x300, 0x301, 0x310 and 0x311).

Turn off "Force Layer 3 above all others layers sprites" in Header Properties (where you set vertical scroll at will or no vertical scroll)

As for the .bat file, try this:

Just have the ROM in the same directory as addmusic and all should be fine. I have no clue why you used "../rom.smc" at all, since that would not point to addmusic's directory, if I'm not wrong..

Problem still exist when I moved ROM onto AddMusic folder. Also it isn't problem with not reading ROM, and I have that construction to organize hack folder. And yes, I have version 1.22 in Japanese.

If you need tiles you could replace 34E, 34F, 35E, 35F, 3C2, 3C3, 3D2, 3D3, 344, 345, 346, 347, 354, 355 somewhat safely since you will rarely find them ingame. (through you will have to remove points system from game.

... here should be patch to make tiles used by Mario in GFX00 become dynamic :(

He didn't meant yellow stars. He meant blue stars.

So... press rainbow star button, select special world and modify left part of palette 5 (colors 2-7), so long as you will be happy with result (hint: change blue onto red)
